How to Complete the Rhode Island Broker Continuing Education Renewal

Rhode Island Real Estate Salespersons and Brokers are required to complete 24 hours of Continuing Education every two years by April 30th of even years. 18 hours of electives and 6 hours of mandatory courses. Mandatory Courses: Law of Agency, Law of Contracts, Fair Housing, Lead Hazard Mitigation, and Rhode Island License Law & Ethics.There is a one-time requirement for all licensees to take a lead poisoning/lead hazard mitigation course of not less than 3 hours if they didn’t already take it to gain licensure. The Rhode Island Lead Paint Mitigation course may be taken again for mandatory credit in a separate cycle if desired.
No Final Exam Passing Requirement

Online Limitations

If you choose to complete the course Law of Agency it is required to be taken in a classroom setting.
